"CHANTS OF THE HUNGRY"
CHANTS OF THE HUNGRY is a visual and physical embodiment by Artist Zuriel Perkins internal rage. This is expressed through bold red colours and minimal imagery. The idea is to lure the viewer into a space of chaos. This installation is a visual chant, using repetitive wording to create an atmosphere challenging how we perceive rioters and protesters. Instead of fetishising over the idea of rebellion this piece is more focused on why rebellion happens and the aftermath of it.
